So these two episodes are actually Yin and Yang?

Well, if they were Yin and Yin they'd be pandas.

Perhaps but with this new announcement with Ann Cusack playing someone close to Rick might be closer to the Male Female dichotomy. Now do you think she is a Sister of Rick from Spy Daddy? Since she is from a clandestine agency too?

If the "connection" the character played by Ann Cusack is familial, I'd prefer her to be an older sister than an aunt as some are suggesting. Cusack is 54, only a decade older than Nathan, and looks younger than her years. Remember Stana called the episodes Brother - Sister in her Deadline interview. Was that a hint? I'm actually more curious about the character's "unique set of skills" and what she has to do with Beckett, but haven't a clue what any of it means.

I'm hoping that she does not turn out to be a secret wife from his disappearance like she had an unknown husband in rogan. If they are doing a reboot as sone think and exploring what made them come together and why they stay then this could be it.

The top secret organisation that Rita belongs to need not necessarily be on the side of right,(think Spectre), maybe it's the organisation that provided Bracken with his hit men. The old showrunners hinted that they might not be done completely with Bracken and there's no reason the new ones haven't chosen to pick up on that and run with it. We've already had one female assassin in a Death In the Family. There has been some speculation that not all of Bracken's organisation has been dismantled and people like Mr Jones can't be happy bunnies, so maybe this is the latest attempt on Beckett's life, which could lead into her distancing herself from Castle and his family because of the threat, as some have suggested as an explanation for the blind item, if that is indeed referring to Castle. Haven't got a theory for Rita's unexpected connection to Castle yet, the title and Stana's description of the two parter could suggest an unknown step sister, perhaps Rita isn't aware of the connection initially either and they both discover the truth in the course of the episode. Which results in a big family reunion and Rita changing sides to save Beckett at the end but possibly pays the price so that she doesn't have to appear in any more episodes. Whatd'ya know, did have a theory after all. LOL

Do not know how Ann Cusak's character connects to Castle, but Bracken will be the reason for the split between the couple. His power and connections will still reach from behind bars and he will threaten the lives of Beckett and Castle and their families. For their and their families safety, they will separate.

I still do not believe the split is coming no matter what the blind item says. Also I do not think Bracken is involved at all either. The Rita character I believe is amoral as most people in the clandestine services are. I believe there are forces involved that will be slowly revealed through the season.

And you know this how? Guessing? Or are you talking "insider information." The posting of "confidential" details of plot that's not been released through the media (i.e, TV Guide, TV Line, etc.) is not allowed on this board. PERIOD.
